Dona H Willison

Dona R. Willison, 78, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2017.She was born on November 1, 1938 in East Brady to Rosalie V. McCanna Harmon of Lower Burrell and the late Frank Harmon.Mrs. Willison was a longtime member of the Arnold United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star 453 of Springdale, the White Shrine and the Order of Amaranth.  She enjoyed traveling and had gone to Germany, Aruba and many other destinations while a tour guide for Thomas Tours of Lower Burrell for 30 years.  She retired from Montgomery Ward in Lower Burrell after 30 years of service.Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Robert L. Willison, Sr.; her daughter, Jacqueline M. “Jackie” Willison of Hagerstown, MD and Robert Lee (Susan) Willison, Jr. of Green Cove Springs, FL; siblings Frank (Bonnie) of Upper Burrell Township, Margaret (Eugene) Godleski of Logans Ferry Heights, Plum, and Marlene Harmon of Plum; grandchildren, LeAnna (Wes) Harris of Tallahassee, FL and Frank Willison of Jacksonville, FL; great-grandchildren, Catrina Willison, Evelyn & Fiona Harris; two step grandchildren Aaron (Jenna) Gildea and Jesse (Crystal) Gildea; and three step-great grandchildren, Ethan, Tyler and David Gildea.Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her beloved Schnauzer, “Miss Lilly.”Viewing will be 2-4 & 6-8PM on Wednesday in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held Thursday at 10 AM.  Her pastor, Rev. Sharon Waltenbaugh will officiate.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.  The Eastern Star will assemble in the funeral home on Wednesday at 7 PM to hold a service for their late member.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Arnold United Methodist Church, 1801 Leishman Avenue, Arnold, PA 15068, will be appreciated.  To leave an online condolence visit www.rossgwalker.com.
