Anna Mae Hiborik

Anna Mae Hiborik, 75, of New Kensington, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. She was born in Johnstown on August 27, 1941, a daughter of the late Walter Sr. & Leona Briggs Piechnik. Mrs. Hiborik graduated from Community College of Allegheny County.  She was a Registered Nurse with the Aspinwall V.A. Hospital.A member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, she volunteered at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital.  She also enjoyed line dancing and attending functions at the New Kensington Senior Citizens Center. Surviving are her children, Michele, Beth and Matthew of New Kensington and Steven of Alaska; grandchildren, Steven and Ashton; and her siblings, Dorothy Berg and Walter “Goo” Piechnik of Johnstown and Robin Oleska of North Carolina.Viewing will be Monday, May 1, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where prayers of transfer will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral Mass at 10 AM in Mt.
