May I express my deepest sympathy to Vae's family from my mother and I. I just received a post card from Vae several days before she passed, telling me she had tried to call my mother in her Vandergrift, Pa. home, but there was no answer. She sent the card to my address in Florida, trying to locate my mother, Virginia Rankin Clark. I had a letter ready to send out to her, and was just researching her address. My mother talked of Vae so much, as their father's were cousins. My mother has a brain injury from a blood clot 2 years ago, so her short term memory is gone. When we received Vae's card, we talked a lot about the time they spent together when she lived in New Kensington. My mother remembered that 'her 2 sons' came with her to the Rankin reunion a number of years ago.
I wish I could have paid my respects to you in person, but I am 1000 miles from New Kensington at this time. My address here in Sanford Florida is 110 sunset drive, 32773. Please know that my mother treasured the memories with your mother, and looked forward to their occasional cards and letters. You have my deepest sympathy in your loss. Judy Clark
