Leonard Wolfe

Leonard E. Wolfe, 83, of Buffalo Township, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at Allegheny Valley Hospital.

He was born June 14, 1933 to the late Leonard and Marie Grunden Wolfe and was a graduate of Har-Brack High School and a member of Harvest Community Church of Freeport. He worked as a delivery man for Central Office Products for many years.

He is survived by his five children Nettie (Edward Sr.) Menhart of New Kensington, Leonard “Butchie” Wolfe and Randy Wolfe both of Buffalo Township, Loretta Bash of Brackenridge and Virginia Brestensky of New Kensington; his eight grandchildren Deanna Brestensky, Robert Brestensky, Larry (Megan) Copney, Erica (Frankie) Martin, Edward (Trish) Menhart Jr., Shawn (Tionna) Menhart, John Bash Jr. and April Bash; 15 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Shirley Henderson and Carol (James)  Geahrey, both of Brackenridge, and Dennis (Yvonne) Wolfe of Ohio.

Besides his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Rose Sweeney; a granddaughter, Denise Copney; a brother Don Wolfe and a sister, Blanche Fatchet.

Leonard was a happy-go-lucky and kind-hearted man who loved to read his daily Bible scripture and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He didn’t drink, swear or smoke.
