To Joes family:
I will miss seeing him around the Northside.
I did not know him well, but he would often pass my house in Fineview. On occasion he used my phone. My husband and I tried to give him things but he always refused.He always told me something that remained memorable and his kindness and love of animals told me so much about who he was. A kind hearted soul.
I guess about two years ago he must have started to ride the #8 or #11 bus as he no longer trekked past our house. I would honk and wave if I would see him but had spoken with him in quite some time. We never understood his circumstances . We wish him peace.
