Genie, yep that's what we called him for the past 63 years. A friend from childhood who also
was a fabled 8th Streeter. A super guy who I just saw recently. Us 8th streeters grew up dirt
poor but we had one rich childhood. Rest easy Brother. 212 8Th Street.

My Deepest Sympathy and Heartfelt Condolences to the family and friends of Gene. He was a friend, co-worker, and union brother during our employment at Allegheny Ludlum.
Gene was always an uplifting person to work with in those harsh conditions
He was loved by all and it is sad to hear of his passing.
May he Rest in the Peace and Hope of the Lord♥

I met Eugene several years ago...BUT could never remember his name. I'd always call him, Michael. I finally got his name straight last year. He was a nice man and liked to help others.
