William R. "Bill" Achenne

William R. “Bill” Achenne, 63, formerly of New Kensington, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021, in Austin, TX, where he lived for the past three years.  Bill was born on July 12, 1958, in New Kensington, to the late Eugene and Madelaine (Noel) Achenne. 

Bill lived most of his life in New Kensington, but also spent many years in Florida, North Carolina, Arizona, and Texas.  During his life, Bill worked for National Materials, RPC Electronics, North Side Foods Corporation, and as an electrician’s helper in later years.   He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and hanging out with friends.

Bill is survived by his sisters, Robin Schrecengost of Lower Burrell and Holly (Glenn) Matovcik of Lower Burrell, his niece Carrie (Randy) Brezler and nephew Ben (Trung Bach) Falter, his niece Madison Matovcik, and nephew David Matovcik, his great niece Emma Brezler and great nephew Logan Brezler.

There will be no viewing.  Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
