Wanda Jean (Newby) Lauffer

Wanda Jean Lauffer, 61, of Allegheny Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

She was born in Philipsburg, NJ, on September 16, 1962 to Mary Newby of New Kensington.  

Mrs. Lauffer enjoyed playing bingo, baking, cookouts, bonfires, the Hallmark Channel, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.  

Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband of 39 years, John C. Lauffer; children, Christopher Newby (Michelle Naughton), Jessica L. (Marlin) Stiffey, and John E. (Melissa) Lauffer; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gary and Kevin Williams.  

She was preceded in death by a brother Steve Williams, and a sister in infancy, Kathleen Williams.  

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 12 noon until celebration of life services at 2PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Burial will be private.
