Toni Lorraine (Rowe) Burton

Toni Lorraine Burton (Rowe), 70, of Penn Hills and formerly of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

She was born December 5, 1955 in New Kensington to the late Tommy & Mildred Woody Rowe, and was a 1973 graduate of Valley High School.  

Toni was a hairdresser/stylist for Cammuso's Salon Spa in Plum Borough and also did hairdressing for the patients in many local nursing homes.  

Those closest to Toni knew her to be the epitome of “A People Person”. She cared deeply about everyone—always going out of her way to help and give the best advice. She was known for telling the best stories and making people laugh. Most importantly she was a praying woman, believing that there is power in prayer.

Toni’s legacy lives on in the memories held by loved ones and in the countless moments of laughter and compassion she shared throughout her life. Though her absence is deeply felt, the impact of Toni’s life continues to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Mrs. Burton is survived by her husband of 21 years, Charles Burton Sr.; daughters, Shacara (Benjamin) Kuczma of Scott Township and Sonya (Warren Jr.) Matthews of Cockeysville, MD, Charles Jr, Chad, and Brittany Burton of Connellsville; grandchildren, Ava Kuczma, Amaya, Warren “Buddy” III, Isaiah, Melody-Grace, Jeremiah, and Harmony-Reign Matthews; and her siblings, Mary Thrower, Larry “Pete” Rowe, Robert Rowe and Louise “Lulu” Turner. In addition, she is survived by loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom she adored.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Virginia “Jenny” and James Rowe.  

Viewing will be Tuesday, February 3, from 1-3 & 5-7 PM at ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held Wednesday, February 4, at 11AM.  Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
