Terrilyn Walker-Pipkins Obituary

Terrilyn Lee Walker-Pipkins, 70, of Arnold passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2020. She was born in West Newton on Sept. 30, 1949 to the late Howard Milton and Alyce Ida Mae Moore Walker.

Terrilyn was a 1967 graduate of McKeesport High School and later graduated from CCAC and the University of Pittsburgh, School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in the ICU at Citizens General Hospital and Allegheny Valley Hospital.  She was a very active member of her church, Canaan Outreach Ministries, where she was a Sunday school teacher, secretary, and musician, receiving the well-earned title, “Piano Lady”. Terrilyn enjoyed art, singing, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Melony D. Pipkins of Arnold; sons, Thomas (Danielle) Pipkins Jr. of Aliquippa and Eric L. (Samanda Fancher) Pipkins of Arnold; grandchildren, Tarique, Courtney, Jaqueline, Alayna, Thomas III, Cire, Shyler, Kyler, and Skyler; great-grandchildren, Ayara, and Darrelle Jr.; siblings, Jerome T. “Ricky” (Rebecca) Walker, Louis A. (Tammy) Walker Sr., Loretta Walker, and Louis Anthony Walker Jr.; ex-husband, Thomas Pipkins Sr.; aunt, Carol Ann (Alonzo) Brown; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terrilyn was delighted to know that she has another grandchild and another great grandchild on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marcia Weatherspoon.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Sunday, Feb. 16 in the ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 17 at 11 AM at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1150 Asa W. Roberts Way (Formerly 4th Ave.), New Kensington. Elder Ronald P. White will officiate. Anyone attending the service is asked to go directly to the church. Burial will be private in Olive Branch Cemetery, Belle Vernon. rossgwalker.com
