Teresa Lucille (Fenoglietto) Susini, 91, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born, June 12, 1934 in Creighton, East Deer Township, to the late Domenic and Katherine (Legge) Fenoglietto, who preceded her in 1959 and 1958, respectively, and was also preceded in death by a brother, James Fenoglietto, who preceded her in 1989, and sister-in-law, Dorothy (Hrivinak) Fenoglietto in 2023.
She graduated from East Deer HS in 1952, and was married to Robert George Susini, who preceded her in January 2020. They were married for 61 years.
She was a dedicated member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, where she donated her delicious baked goods to various fundraisers and served as a volunteer for Lenten Fish Fries, along with her husband.
Teresa was a woman of great faith and fiercely protective and supportive of her family, who were everything to her.
Survivors include her children - daughter Lynn M. (Mark) Wingert of Monroeville; son, Robert S. Susini of Lower Burrell; and son, Jason P. (Ginny) Susini of Philadelphia; and her granddaughters - Angela M. (Nick) Yockel of Lancaster, SC; and Lauren N. (Shawn) Thens of Cheswick.
Teresa spoiled her family with her amazing cooking. No matter what she made or what new recipe she tried, it was delicious. On holidays, the family would gather at her house to enjoy outstanding meals. She was well known for her lasagna and homemade cookies and desserts.
Nothing gave her greater joy than being with her children and grandchildren. She believed in the adage that “Family takes care of family”, and she lived that philosophy every day of her life.
Viewing will be on Friday, June 27, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, and 9:15 AM until funeral Mass at 10AM in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Blessing service will be at 9:45 in the church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Arnold.
