Susan Mary Marinelli, 78, of Lower Burrell passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, March 16th, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Susan was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Mantz of Upper Burrell. She was the owner of “The Exquisite Bride” stores of Murrysville and Richland Township since 2005. She was a member of the St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church in Lower Burrell and enjoyed spending time with her family, helping stray animals, as well as traveling to numerous locations with her husband and family. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Amy Marinelli and her sister Ann Shuss.
Susan is survived by her husband of 58 years David Marinelli Sr., her son David Marinelli Jr. (Ian); her daughter, Jennifer Marinelli-McAfee (Mike); two grandsons, Andrew and Collin, and 2 nieces Madison and Isabella Shuss. Susan has now been reunited with her youngest daughter Amy Marinelli of Beaver Falls who just passed away July 3, 2025.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026 in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington where Prayers of Transfer will be held Saturday, March 21, at 9:30AM in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10AM in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Burial will be private.
