Shirley Jean (Sipes) Miller, 86 of New Kensington, died the early morning of Saturday, October 1, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Belair Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 24, 1935 in New Kensington and was the only daughter of the late Victor and Elizabeth (Robertson) Sipes.
Shirley was a member of the Ken-Hi Class of 1953, she went on to marry Harry R. Miller in 1961, and together they built a home full of love and warmth, as Shirley embraced her role as a mother and homemaker, always putting her family first. Shirley loved baking and cooking, music, hosting parties and dancing. She loved her grandchildren and she also had a deep love of animals. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church of Natrona Heights.
Shirley’s spirit and devotion to her family will be missed by her daughters, Robin (Lou Cipriani) Miller, Michelle (Kelly) Shoop and sons Rick Healey and Randy Healey. Her grandchildren Ashley (Justin) Pasay, Robert Orr, Alyssa (Torin) Hoole, Samantha (John Sylvester) Shoop and Kameron Shoop. Three great grand-children Gavyn Orr, Luciana Pasay and Lincoln Pasay. Shirley joins her husband of 39 years Harry, daughter, Karen Miller, brothers Donald, Wallace, Thomas, and James Sipes; and great granddaughter, Scarlett Shoop in Heaven.

Walker Funeral Home Ltd., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where prayers of transfer will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 9:15 am Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 800 Montana Avenue, Natrona Heights.
