Shelley Marie Nash, 75, of Vandergrift and formerly of New Kensington, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 4, 2025.
She was born April 11, 1950 in New Kensington to the late John & Evelyn Coleman Jeter, was a 1968 graduate of Valley High School and also graduated from the Newport Business Institute in Lower Burrell. She was also very proud to have served in the United States Army for several years.
Shelley was a volunteer at the American Red Cross, New Kensington Chapter for much of her adult life and was heavily involved with their Disaster Action Team. She was instrumental in coordinating recovery activities at the Hopewell Township Flight 427 air disaster.
She was an office manager for Cortron Media and Ken Camera in New Kensington which was spearheaded by her boss and good friend Lou Cordera.
A member of the Red Hat Society, she was a devout Christian.
Surviving are her daughter Carrie K. (Jeremy) Richard; grandchildren, Brianna Bennett (Euvey Ma), Ciara-Rose Bennett (Matthew Hoessler), and Alexandra Richard (Nathan Neal); great-grandchildren, Johnny, Jack and Lilly; and sister, Maxine Kampf.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence; three siblings, her twin, Sherry Jeter, Dan Jeter and Kathleen Cullinan; and great-granddaughter Isabella-Rose.
A funeral service and military services will be held on Monday, December 22, at 4pm in The Rock Church Kiski Valley. 1715 PA-56, Spring Church, PA 15686.
