Sharon Annette (McGee) Richardson

Sharon Annette McGee Richardson, 70, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Monday, Christmas Day, December 25, 2023.

She was born August 6,1953 in Pittsburgh, to the late James Otis and Carrie McKinney McGee.  

Sharon was a member of Rivers of Life Church in Arnold, Abundant Life Fellowship, Lighthouse Church and the Katherine Kuhlman Ministries.  She was involved in their choirs, was Director of the Youth Ministries and a Sunday School Leader.

She was an assembler and line inspector at Westinghouse (later Emerson) in RIDC Park, and previous to that worked in the pet department of MurphyMart in Harmarville.  She loved art and drawing, and Jesus was forefront in her life.    

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerome D.  “Jerry” Richardson; daughter, Carrie Richardson (Eric Orosz), two grandchildren, Adam Richardson and Hailey Orosz; and siblings James A. (Rosetta) McGee, Anita (Thomas) Manley, Roxie McGee (Pendleton) Saulsberry, Yvonne, Annabelle and Victor McGee; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Viewing will be on Thursday, December 28, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held on Friday, at 11AM, by her pastor, Rev. Marvin Hill.  Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
