Russell E. Colwell Jr., 70, of Lower Burrell died on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021. He was born July 24, 1951 in New Kensington to Mary A. (Shaner) Colwell and the late Russell E. Colwell Sr.

Russell had a dynamic personality that captivated everyone in the room, he was often donned the “life of the party” and truly knew how to have a good time under all circumstances. A jack of all trades, he was a distinguished huntsman, and when not in the woods, he could be found ripping on his motorcycle, cheering for his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins, or caring for his loyal feline companion, Kitty Cat.

In addition to his mother, Russell is survived by his son, Russell E. Colwell III; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Darla Eberhardt and Dennis Colwell.

A celebration of Russ’ Life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, Nov. 20 at Mogie’s Irish Pub, 3210 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell.
