Ronald W. Misher Sr.

Ronald Wardell Misher Sr., 59 of Arnold died Tuesday February 2, 2022 at Corner View Nursing Home with his adoring family at his side.  Ronald was born December 4,1962 in St. Louis Missouri, one of five children to the late John and Barbara Mae Vernon Shields, and was raised in Pontiac Michigan. 

He was a hard worker his entire life, graduated from Pontiac Central Highschool Class of 1980, and worked in the landscaping industry.  Ronald was a “jokester” who always brought lively amusement to the group, and was known to be the best storyteller, with tales of a lifetime of adventures he affectionately shared with his beloved children and grandchildren.  A man devoted to his community and family, Ronald he held a fierce faith in the Lord; regardless if he was casting his reel fishing, or cooking his homemade goodness for family and friends, he walked daily in his Christian faith.  Above all, the greatest role Ronald’s life was the one he held within his family, and he will be deeply missed for his most giving tender heart, passion for living each day to the fullest, and humility he carried throughout his entire life. 

Ronald is survived by his precious seven children; Ronae Allen, Ronald W. Misher Jr. (Ashlee), Rashan Allen, Edy Allen, Michael Allen (Drew), Ronshina Allen, and Tori Barnes; his cherished grandchildren; Ashanae, Ronald III, Aniya, Rashad, Mickael, De’Nallie, Ryder, and Devanie; his siblings, Dwayne Vernon, Lavetta Vernon, and Kenneth Hawkbey; nieces Andrea, Keon, and Kamone Vernon; his dear companion Betty Allen, and close friend Gwen Map.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Hawkbey.
