Robert "Keith" Scholl

Robert “Keith” Scholl, 66, of Freeport died after battling a lengthy illness on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was born in New Kensington on March 27, 1956 to the late Robert and Helen (Miller) Scholl.

Keith was a graduate of Leechburg High School Class of 1974 and later received his Professional Certificate in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 1991. Affectionately known as “Hotdog”, he was an avid ball player and was greatly involved for over 30 years with the Ford City Men’s Softball Association. He loved all things sports, from his various collections of sports memorabilia to being a longtime loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Keith had a strong faith and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Leechburg.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his aunt, Patricia Rogers of Natrona Heights; many cousins; countless friends who he loved and cherished; and his baby girl, his dog, Carrie, who has been adopted.
