Robert Stephen Torok, Sr., 87 of New Kensington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
He was born in New Kensington on May 27, 1938 to the late Frank and Elizabeth Sutts Torok, Sr., and was a 1956 graduate of Ken-Hi.
Mr. Torok was a machinist for a firm in Oakmont for many years, and also worked for several other machine shops. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, liked to garden and was known for his large and healthy tomato plants, and was a fan of NASCAR.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Shirley Mae Speer Torok; children, Robert S. (Kelly) Torok, Jr., Randall W. (Tina) Torok and Tara M. (Tim) Keibler; grandchildren, Ryan Schuller and Sara (Tommy) Torok, Kayla (E.J.) Tavarez, and Victoria and Olivia Keibler; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Makenzie Schuller, A.J. Spencer, and Jordyn and Eva Tavarez; as well as his brother, Frank Torok, Jr.
Viewing will be Monday, June 16, from 5PM until services at 8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
Rev. Dean Ward will preside. The Eagles will honor their fallen comrade at 6:30 PM in the funeral home.
