Robert Shawn Thomas

Robert Shawn Thomas, 46, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at his residence.

He was born November 13, 1977 in Atlantic City, NJ, to the late Robert Keith Thomas and Linda Ann Lloyd Thomas.  

He was a graduate of Mercyhurst College with a bachelors degree in music.  He sang with the Pittsburgh Opera and the Mendelsohn Choir.  He was an assembler with Leading Technology, Leechburg, and was a youth counselor with Family Services.  He also enjoyed pencil drawing, singing, dancing and watching Tyler Perry movies. 

Mr. Thomas was a member of Bibleway Christian Fellowship Church.  

Surviving are his son, Charles Joseph Thomas and his fiancé Ryan Havens; siblings, William Jason Delbert Thomas, Princess Latoya Faith (Damien) Shavers and Jarrell Omar Thomas; half-sister Shanell Thompson.

Visitation will be 10 AM until services at noon, on Tuesday, January 30, in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  His pastor, Rev. Dr. Mitchel Nickols, will officiate.  Burial will take place in Bala Cynwyd,
