Richard Frederick Demmler, 67, of Champion and formerly of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026.
He was born in New Kensington on May 22, 1958 to the late Albert W. Jr. & Donna Frederick Demmler, and was a 1976 graduate of Valley High School.
Richard was employed by West Penn Power Company (later Allegheny Power) at the Jeannette substation for 35 years, retiring just last year.
Survivors include his sister, Diane L. Demmler of Fox Chapel and Debbie L. Demmler of O’Hara Township; and Diane’s two sons, Samuel Demmler Ford and Keith Frederick Haw.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Keith Alan Demmler in 1980.
Viewing will be on Friday, April 10, from 10AM until services at 12 Noon in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Keith A.
