The Reverend Wendy Louella Keys, 63, of New Kensington, Pastor of
the United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington, passed away on
Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
She was born September 9, 1959, in McKeesport to Patricia Grove
Norris of Houston, TX, and the late Charles Edward “Ed” Norris.
Wendy went to high school and college in Illinois, and received her
Master of Divinity at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She was
Pastor of the United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington the past
eight years.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband David Lloyd
Keys; siblings, Kathleen A. Norris of Houston, TX, Charles Edward
Norris Jr. of Portage, WI, Jeffrey David Norris of Porter, TX, and Alan
Roy Norris of Gresham, OR; nieces and nephews, Austin Matthew
Brown, Alan William Henderson, Dawn Renee Cloud, Tamera Norris,
Brendan Norris, Tricia Norris Linger, and Elizabeth Ray Osterwisch.
She loved quilting and knitting and participating in the church’s food
bank.
Visitation will be Sunday December 11, from 12 noon until 4PM in
ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New
Kensington. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 12, at
11 AM in the United Presbyterian Church, 601 Fifth Avenue, New
Kensington. Burial will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
