Randy Charles Jenereaux, 31, beloved son, brother, uncle, and treasured friend, was the victim of a senseless act of violence on the evening of Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021. Born on Oct. 28, 1990 in Tampa, FL, Randy carried a colorful aura, zest for life, and possessed a truly magnetic personality. He could make a friend in an empty room and was an absolutely tender-hearted human being. His contagious smile lit up every room he entered, and one never forgot how he made you feel as he led his life with compassion, enthusiasm, loyalty, and determination. Randy was very funny and knew how to truly crack a joke whether he was mid breakaway in a roller hockey game, playing video games, or in an intense ping pong match with his twin. He was an avid film fan, delving deep into the plot of movies, where he developed a passion for creating his own documentaries of varied interests, and had a keen ear for eclectic music. He was a hometown boy and diehard Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan. A graduate of Burrell High School Class of 2009, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Business Management at California University of Pennsylvania. Randy was a leader and will be so deeply missed and forever remembered for his brave humility, warm and everlasting spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family, friends, and coworkers whose lives will eternally be impacted by him.
He is survived by his mother, Angel Jenereaux; father, Randy Beigay; stepfather who raised him since age of four, Pete Chovan; identical twin brother, absolute best friend, and roommate, Andy Jenereaux; sister, Amber Jenereaux; brothers, Thadius Chovan and Casey Beigay; niece, Paiton Jenereaux; four nephews; and best friends for life, Kenny Lewis and Robbie Atkinson.
His sister, Doris M. Chovan, predeceased him on July 5, 2018.
