Ralph Jonathan Ranallo was born in Natrona Heights (PA) on October 8, 1964. As a child he grew up in Vandergrift (PA) and was a graduate of Kiski Area High School. He was a fun loving husband, father, uncle and son who always enjoyed good music, good food, and a good time with family. Ralph grew up loving sports and regularly watched his favorite teams from Pittsburgh (PA). His passion for music, especially rock, helped hone his collector’s spirit with electric guitars and albums of the bands he loved listening to. Surely rock music contributed to his having long hair and sporting his recognizable ponytail for years. He wasn’t too hard to please when it came to having a meal and would always take the opportunity to have pizza, that he’d jazz up with extras at home, have a big plate of nachos, or a nice bowl of pasta.
As a young man Ralph was very athletic and played lots of sports including baseball and basketball but had a particular interest in hockey. I early adulthood he met Antoinette “Toni” Green and found common ground through that love of sports and music that developed into a life together of 37 years of marriage. The had their first home in New Kensington (PA) where they raised their first daughter Stefona until 2001 when they moved to Surprise, AZ where in 2004 their second daughter Tionna was born. Ralph continued to share his love of sports and especially music with his daughters that created lasting memories.
Ralph started his career doing jobs that requited delivery driving. After moving to Arizona he started working at Office Depot before moving over the United States Postal Service where he worked for the next 15 years. Always a friendly character, Ralph got along well with co-workers and customers alike. Family and those who knew him well will remember him as a lighthearted and down-to-Earth kind of guy. He passed away on November 15, 2025 after a brave battle with dementia, at the age of 61.
He is survived by his wife Antoinette “Toni,” his daughters Stefona and Tionna, and his father George. May he find peace at rest with his mother Joanne, his uncle Jack, and his grandparents George, Liz, Frank, and Eva. His daughters especially seek to forward his spirit with their love of music, silly jokes, and embracing his lighthearted nature. We love you always!
