Peggy Lou McIntyre

Peggy Lou McIntyre, 68, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully Monday, March 8, 2021. She was born in New Kensington on November 8, 1952, to the late Edward J. Sr. and Helen C. Barbarie Shehab.

Peggy was a graduate of Ken-Hi, Class of 1970 and later graduated from Newport Business Institute. She was a lifetime member at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church of New Kensington. She was the former owner of A Touch of Green in New Kensington and loved being outdoors, gardening, and cooking. Peggy loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Glenn L. McIntyre; daughter, Jennifer (Jon) McMeans; son, John (Kelly) McIntyre; granddaughters, Taylor McMeans, and Josie & Frankie McIntyre; sister, Christine (Gary) Krauss; brothers, Jack Shehab and Edward J. (Tracy) Shehab Jr.; niece, Danielle Shehab; and nephew, Alex Shehab.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Viewing will be from 6 to 9 PM, on Thursday, March 11, 2021 in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 1150 Leishman Ave, New Kensington, where Trisagion prayers will be held at 8 PM.
