Patricia "Pat" (Morgan) Rinkes

Ada Patricia Rinkes, 85, of New Kensington went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Known by her friends and family as Pat, she was the daughter of the late William and Alice (Winton) Marriott.
She was a graduate of Ken-Hi in 1957 and then in 1960 received her nursing degree after attending Citizens General Hospital School of Nursing.
Pat enjoyed nursing but her true passion was teaching. She loved reading her Bible and was known for leading ladies Bible studies, being a director at a local Awana Club and teaching children’s church. Her heart was for God and praying for anyone that asked for prayer. She was cheerful in the Lord Jesus Christ and that light shone through in every aspect of her life.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. We will miss her greatly along with so many that called her friend.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, Thomas F. Rinkes; a son, Kevin (Vicki) Morgan of Peyton, Co; a daughter, Wendy (Alan) Knepp of Greensburg; stepson TR Rinkes III (Erin Vargo); four grandchildren, Joshua (Ellie) Morgan; Olivia Knepp, Melissa Morgan, Ethan Knepp; one great grandchild; her brother, William (Helen) Marriott of Carrollton, VA, and sister-in-law, Yvonne Price of Lower Burrell along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband Stanley Robert Morgan “Bob”.
Friends and family will be received at ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, on Saturday, September 27, from 2-4 PM and are invited to participate in the funeral service immediately following the viewing.
