Patricia Edinger

Patricia Jean Edinger, 73, of Delmont, passed away on December 21, 2022.

She was born September 29, 1949 in New Kensington to the late Edward L. & Mary F. Simms Butcher, and was a 1967 graduate of Penn Hills High School.

Patricia was vice-president of 3B Products, a rustproofing company located in New Kensington for many years.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, creating stained glass, needlepoint, embroidery, and her cats.

Surviving are her children, Kristin M. (Brian) Cheshire of Mogadore, OH and Robert E. Edinger of Newark, DE; granddaughter, Emma Cheshire who was a source of endless joy and pride; and sister Linda A. (Gregorio) Martin of Haymarket, VA.

She raised her children to be strong and independent, but never hesitated to rescue them when they needed help. Her kindness, friendliness and loyalty led to many wonderful friendships, many spanning half a century or longer.

Viewing will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 11 AM until services at noon in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Rev. Dean Ward, pastor of The River - A Community Church, will officiate.  Private entombment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lower Burrell.
