Pastor Ronald Paul White, Born January 11, 1952 to the late William and Mildred White of New Kensington, PA transitioned from this life and took his flight to his eternal home on January 22, 2021.
Pastor White was a 1969 Graduate from Valley High School and furthered his education in Drafting and Design from Pittsburgh Technical Institute. Pastor White served in the United States Navy as a Naval Corpsman, received a National Defense Service Medal and was Honorably Discharged in 1978. While Serving, Pastor White graduated from the Naval Hospital Corpsman School in Great Lakes, IL on August 22, 1974. While completing his studies and education, Pastor White met his bride, First Lady, Minister Constance White in 1971, they were married in Norfolk VA, where he was stationed, on March 17, 1977. Pastor White worked 30 years for Peoples National Gas in Leechburg, PA as a tool dresser, and a customer serviceman, and at the headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA as a dispatcher.
Pastor White was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ throughout his years. He was ordained as a Deacon at Bethlehem Temple Faith Church in Arnold, PA. He was then elevated under the leadership and guidance of the late Pastor John C. Oliver, Sr. at Jesus Apostolic Church in New Kensington, PA. He attended Canaan First Baptist Church where he grew up as a young boy and later became Senior Pastor then later changed the name to Canaan Outreach Ministry.
During his illness, Pastor White never lost his faith, trust in God and continued praising Him until the end. He will be forever remembered by his family and friends as a man with a great sense of humor, a heart to serve others and his love for potato salad!
Pastor Ronald Paul White will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late William and Mildred White and stepmother, Mary White; His sisters, Estelle Stokes, Lorraine Miles, Deborah Lowery, Helen Williams, Patricia Hale, Cynthia Matthews; and his beloved Aunt, Elanor Mosley.
He leaves cherished memories with his wife, Minister Constance White and their children: Erik (Tammy) Booker, Brian (Stacey) White, Seth White, Brandi (Steve) Roach, Kristen White, Lizette Sykes – whom he considered a daughter; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his siblings: Johnathan White, Gregory White, Tawanda (RD) Brown, William (Gwen) Myricks and Charles Myricks; and beloved cousins, Pastor Gregory (Neice) White, and Denise White and a host of family and friends.
Viewing will be from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, and from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM on Thursday, Jan. 28 in the ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Pastor Gregory White will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. rossgwalker.com
