Michael Eugene Zito

Michael Eugene Zito, 87, of Conway, S.C. formerly of Upper Burrell Township passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 18, 2022. He was born May 2,1935 in New Kensington to the late Michael and Frances (Maglisco) Zito. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.  Mike enjoyed playing a competitive round of golf, was an avid reader, an action and western movie viewer, and a lifelong Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguin fan.  

Surviving are his wife, Patsy Reynolds Zito; his daughter, Denise (Eric) Yunkun; his grandson, Connor Michael Yunkun; brother, Alvin Zito; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by loving wife, Mary Patricia Zito, his son Michael John Zito, his only granddaughter, Erika Paige Yunkun and sisters, Frances McAllister and Marcia Dodge.

Viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 23rd, in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 24th. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell with a luncheon at Hillcrest Country Club.
