Michael Lettrich Obituary

Michael A. Lettrich,44, of New Kensington, PA, died of cardiac arrest while at work on Friday June 6, 2025, in Bedford, PA.  Born May 23, 1981, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the beloved son of Deborah (Horwitz) and Joseph Lettrich of Allegheny Twp.  Michael was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He is survived by his loving parents as well as his only sibling Joseph, his sister-in-law Michelle, and their adoring children Joseph, Dominic, and Isabelle of Gibsonia.  He was a graduate of Kiski Area High School and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  Previously he was a caddie at Oakmont Country Club, a set-up man for NEP Group for NASCAR races, a surveyor for GAI Consultants, and a tractor trailer driver for numerous trucking companies, most recently with Smith Transport in Bedford, PA.  He reached his goal to drive through all the lower 48 states, capturing stunning drone photos taken while camping in the plains, deserts, and mountains.  Mike was proud to be able to fix almost anything.  He loved hunting, cooking, and hosting friends for a cookout to watch the Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates.   He had great interest in politics, often listening to podcasts.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Alden and Angela Horwitz and his fraternal grandparents Joseph and Isabelle Lettrich (Clements), and step-grandfather Reverend Hudson Clements.
At Michael’s request, there will be no visitation, but a celebration of his life is being planned.
