Mattie Lou (Mahaffey) McGee, 94 of New Kensington, Pa went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 26, 2024. 

Mattie was born November 18, 1929 in Pittsburgh, Pa to the late Robert Lee Mahaffey Sr. and Georgia Mahaffey. 

She was the widow of Ezell McGee who passed away August 15, 2016. She is survived by her living daughter Rita Chaffin. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Charles C. Head, Donald Bell Jr., Timothy Bell, J. Michael (Mervet) Head, Joshua (Kendra) Head, Jamell (Vance) Humphrey, and Stephanie Head, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, four stepchildren Diana (Marvin) Hill, Dwain (Brenda) McGee, Josie Nelson, and Lloyd (Tani) Massie and a host of step-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death, besides her parents were siblings Robert Lee Mahaffey Jr, Georgia Mae Mahaffey and two daughters Florine McKinney and Earline Head. 

Viewing will be Monday, March 4, 2024, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 5, at 11am in Evangel Heights Church, 120 Beale Road, Sarver.  Anyone attending the service is asked to go directly to the church.  Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
