Mary Agnes Williams

Mary Agnes, daughter of the late Willie and Frieda Baidy was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, September 1, 1924.

Mary attended Arnold High School in Arnold, Pennsylvania.  After graduation she was united in married to the late Robert H. Williams, Sr.  From this union were six children.  The late Betty A. Mangual, Robert Williams, Jr., Larry Williams, Sr., David Williams, Mark Williams, and Mary F. Williams.

Mary was actively involved in the Alle-Kiski Senior Citizens Center in New Kensington, PA volunteering for many years. A devoted Pittsburgh Pirates fan, she loved to travel, garden, watch football, and complete crossword puzzles. She especially cherished spending time with family and friends.   

Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.  She saw the good in everyone she came across.  God saw fit to send one of his Angels for Mary on April 21, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Williams, Sr.; parents, Willie and Frieda Baidy; sister, Ellen Speights; daughter, Betty Mangual; grandson, Gabriel Williams; and great grandson, Kai Anthony.

She leaves to mourn four sons, Robert (Laverne) Williams, Jr., Larry Williams Sr., David Williams, Mark Williams; one daughter, Mary F. Williams; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Please join us to celebrate and honor Mary’s life with a viewing on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at 11:00 A.M at Ross G. Walker Funeral Home Ltd., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Pastor Marco Tinor will officiate. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
