Marlene J. Kolesar, 74, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 26, 1950 in California to the late Emil Sr., and Geraldine Clark Kolesar, and was a 1968 graduate of Springdale High School.
Marlene was a bartender for Joe’s Fireside for 30 years. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds in her yard, going to thrift stores, and had the ultimate green thumb. She loved cooking for her family and lots of people all the time, and especially loved going to games where her granddaughter, Isabella, was a cheerleader.
Survivors include her children, Heidi M. (Kevin) Bair of Plum Borough, Joseph C. (Reggie) Eckley of Philadelphia, Bobbie Jo Malinsky of Arnold and Julianne (Adam) McCorkendale of West Mifflin; grandchildren, Isabella, Austin, Cole, Kevin, Giovanni, Anthony, Nickolas, Max & Aiden; and great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Lilah; as well as her sister, Judith Ann (Gabe) Ziccarelli.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Malinsky who died in 2012; and her brother, Emil J. Kolesar, Jr.
