Marian Johnson Obituary

Marian M. Johnson, 91, of Arnold passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2020. She was born in Kansas City, MO on February 23, 1928 to the late Ernest and Helen Woodruff Moore.

Marian and her husband, Benjamin L. Johnson, spent a major part of their lives living in Los Angeles, California raising their children. Aside from being a wonderful mother, she enjoyed cooking, going to church, watching TV, and travelling to Vegas. Marian loved to spend time with her grandchildren; she was very family oriented.

Survivors include her children, Yvonne Morgan, Toni Anthony, Beverly Ephrim, Terrie Jackson, Michael Gardner, and Tracey Stewart; 14 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Lawrence Johnson; children, Donald Gardner, Marion Gardner, Terrance Gardner, and Bennay Johnson; and siblings, Ernest, Paul, Lillian, Charles, and Ernestine.

All services were private and entrusted to ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
