Malford Paul Wade, 63, of New Kensington, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 11, 2023. He entered his eternal rest surrounded by his beloved family. Born March 2, 1960, in New Kensington, he was the son of the late Grace P. Wade and the late Robert (Bobby) Burke. Malford lived all his life in a multi-generational home in New Kensington and was reared by his late mother along with his late maternal grandparents, Rudolph Paul and Gladys (Powell) Wade, who raised him as their very own. Malford, affectionally called "Mal", was the beloved father of Jadrian Wade, and beloved brother of Dr. VonZell (Laurie JohnsonWade) Wade; Rudoph (Pamela Lopata-Wade) Wade; Robert Burke, Jr., Teryan Wade and Tracey Banichar, and his late sister Tomarro R. Wade; and the loving grandfather of LaNora and Jadrian Jr. Wade. Malford leaves behind a host of precious relatives, including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; family he considered sisters and brothers; and friends that he considered members of his family. Malford was a graduate of Valley High School (1978), New Kensington, and Robert Morris University. Malford worked his entire adult life and completed his employment career at InVision Human Services, Wexford, where he was set to retire this month. Malford was known for having a ton of friends, and for his fierce GQ style. Mal's family and friends were everything to him, and he enjoyed traveling and social gatherings with his beloved Game Club family. Malford was baptized in the Catholic faith and was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church, New Kensington. Family and friends will be received for visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, PA 15068. A home going celebration of Malford's life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2023, in Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1150 Fourth Ave., New Kensington. Apostle Teralyn Thompson-Bossio will officiate this service. Burial services will be held at Union Cemetery, Freeport Road, Arnold. A funeral luncheon will follow at Lost Dreams Awaken Center, 408 Eighth St., Rear, New Kensington, PA 15068.
