Malanda E. "Molly" Briggs

Malanda E. Briggs, 44, of Natrona Heights passed away peacefully on October 9, 2021. She was born July 7, 1977 to the late Mack and Sarah “Sally” (Snider) Briggs.

She was a graduate of Highlands High School Class of 1995 and was an active parishioner of Allegheny Valley Baptist Church. Malanda was extremely creative, andhad a pronounced passion for music, including singing and song writing. Most importantly, she was a wonderfully devoted mother and adored spending time with her 14 year-old daughter, family, and friends.

Malanda is survived by her daughter, Sarah Chessario; siblings, Heather Briggs, Jillian Briggs, Mackara Briggs, Donovan (Tamerra) Briggs, Celesa (Thomas Jr.) Burns, and Jessica Briggs; 25 nieces and nephews; and five great nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and family will be received for a celebration of life memorial service on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 4:00 PM at Allegheny Valley Baptist Church, 2855 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065.
