Madeline Rose DiCarolis Obituary

Madeline R. DiCarolis, 86, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.


She was born on January 14, 1938, to the late Nicola & Mary DeFazio DiCarolis, in Arnold, where she lived her entire life.  


Miss DiCarolis was a kitchen helper for Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington for 32 years, retiring in 1997.  


She was a lifetime member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church of New Kensington, and volunteered as a guard at Roosevelt Park in Arnold for several years after her retirement from the hospital.  She enjoyed traveling.


Surviving are her sister Carmella Penta; sister-in-law, Mary Ann DiCarolis; nephew Vincent J. (Alicia) DiCarolis, niece, Cindy A. (Thomas) Gaughan; and seven great nieces and nephews and eight grand nieces and nephews.


Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert & Vincent DiCarolis.  


Viewing will be on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 11:30 AM until a funeral outside of mass at 12:30 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
