Lukas Anthony Booker, 28, of Leechburg, formerly of New Kensington, passed away peacefully Friday, March 28 2025.
Lukas was born February 1st 1997 to Maurice Booker SR, and the late Lisa Marie Bewszka-Booker. He was a 2015 graduate of Valley High School where he played sports and became life long friends with many people. He then went on to obtain an Associates degree in Smart Business Technology from Pittsburgh Technical College.
Lukas became a self taught musician at the early age of 12 and found the love of his life in his Guitar. He has been in several bands over the years (Forget What They Say, Nullity) until finding his forever home with 156/Silence playing the Bass guitar. Lukas didn't just look at his band as just a band, they were his brothers. Together 156/Silence toured all over the United States making the last year of his life unforgettable! When not ROCKING the stages across America with his band he worked in the warehouse of LKQ Distribution center he Also had other work endeavors.
Lukas is survived by his father Maurice Edward Booker Sr and step mother Heather Oakes of New Kensington. His siblings Brittany & Robert Patrick of New Kensington, Kandice White & (Chronn) of Tarentum, Maurice Booker Jr & (Michelle) of New Kensington, Allen & Chelsea Booker of New Kensington, Aaron White & (Sarah) of New Kensington, and Courtney Booker of New Kensington; Step brothers Colten Buzard, Timothy S Oakes, Cody Machen and Dylan Kopp; Step sisters Kayla Greenwald, Skylar Zimmerman and Kaitlyn Walters; Maternal Grandparents, Stephen & Deanna Bewzska of Apollo; Paternal Grandmother Evelyn Booker of New Kensington. He also leaves behind Four Aunts, Three Uncles, Fifteen nephews, Thirteen nieces, Three Great-Niece, Two Great-Nephew an abundance of cousins, friends and fans.
Viewing will be Monday from 5-8 & Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held Wednesday at 11AM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
He left an indelible Mark on the hearts of those who knew him his gentle spirit and unwavering kindness defined his essence, creating a legacy of warmth and compassion that will forever be cherished.
