Louise Ballard Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Louise M. Ballard (Combs) AKA “Weezy” (Combs), who peacefully departed this earth into The Lord’s presence on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones in her home at the age of 81.
She was born November 9, 1943, in Brackenridge, to the late James and Magnolia Combs. She worked for Allegheny Valley Hospital, UPMC St. Margaret Hospital as an LPN, as well as a private duty nurse for over 45 years before retiring. She was a member and Church Mother of Bibleway Christian Fellowship Church. She was a licensed and ordained minister and licensed Christian counselor through The National Christian Counselors Association. She counseled and influenced many individuals through her faith in Jesus and walked many people through stronghold deliverances. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and personal savior and desired everyone she knew to know Jesus just as she did. If anyone was around Wheezy, they were sure to receive an encouraging word about The Lord and offered to pray for anyone and any circumstance they faced. Being a daughter of The Most High King is her life legacy.
Her greatest joy was being a loving, caring, and devoted mother to Troy A. Ballard, Bryan S. Ballard, and DeAnn R. Ballard and will be deeply missed by all that knew her. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Magnolia (Reid) and James H. Combs and siblings:  Audrey (Joe) Robinson of Natrona Heights; McKinely (Faye), James (Wendy), and Tryone Combs (Beverly) of Pontiac, MI; Darnell (Henry) Thrower of Brackenridge PA; and grandson: Qwinn S. Ballard of Brackenridge PA.
She is survived by her children, Troy A. Ballard (Lisa), Bryan S. Ballard (Ashley), and DeAnn R. Ballard;  sisters, Henrietta York-Caldwell (NC) and Quandra (Mitchell) Nichols of Lower Burrell); many nieces and nephews, whom she cherished and loved deeply; grandchildren, Tiffany (Cle) Bakah and Aliyah Ballard of Harrisburg PA, Nathan (Jessica) Ballard of Penn Hills, Cory (Kelly) Ballard of Pittsburgh PA, Carli Ballard of Mars PA, Kira Lester of Monessen PA, and Emanuel Henderson of Brackenridge PA;  great grandchildren, Xavi, Rami, Troi, and Landon of PA.
