Lois Jane Watt, 90, of Lady Lake, FL, and formerly of Allegheny Township and Lower Burrell, died gently at home on Friday, April 1, 2022. She was born February 17, 1932, in New Kensington, one of seven children to the late William Andrew and Emma (Kopp) Yeager.
She was a graduate of Ken-Hi Class of 1950 and went on to be an Administrative Assistant for Alcoa, before embracing her most precious role as a homemaker. Lois was the most tender-hearted mother who held deep compassion for details, building her home filled with beautiful surroundings of antiques, floral arrangements as pretty as a picture and ceramics she molded on her kiln, hosting decorated birthday parties, making holidays unforgettable, and filling every day with warmth and deep love. She was a woman of not only beauty but grace and spent time modeling for Hart’s Department Store in her early years and took up knitting later through her life. Lois was vivacious, patient and kind, and will be forever remembered and missed daily for her sweet spirit by her beloved children, Lynn Carpenter, of Lady Lake, Fla., and William D. Watt and wife, Monica, of New York City, N.Y.; three cherished grandchildren, Melissa, Amanda & William; and sister, Jeannie (Bruce) Baumann, of New Kensington.
In addition to her parents, Lois was met in her next phase by her husband of 66 years, William C. Watt who died in 2017; sister, Constance Kiste; and brothers, William, Richard, Robert, and Donald Yeager.
