Lois Marie Mathews

Lois Marie Mathews, 91, of Apollo passed away peacefully on July 27, 2021. She was born in Pittsburgh, on November 14, 1929, to the late Jake and Loretta Klein Young.

Lois enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and playing poker but not as much as she enjoyed her family and friends. She even worked at the Venus Diner which was once the hot spot of Hampton Township.

Lois is survived by her children La Ree Yochum, Daniel Mathews, and Loretta (Billy) Simmons; siblings, Jake Young and Bob Young; grandchildren, Cassie, Mya, Daniel, Richard, Brian, Rebekah, Jessica, Vanessa, Donald and Tammy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, David Mathews and Don Mathews.
