LaRue Maxine (Ungard) Dietrich Obituary

LaRue Maxine Dietrich, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2023.


She was born in New Kensington on February 17, 1926, to the late John and Fay Craig Ungard, and was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Harley H. Dietrich, Sr., in 2012, and sisters, Betty Louise Broadhead and Roxie Jean Ungard. 


LaRue was a longtime member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Arnold.   


Survivors include her children, Lee Annette (Anthony) Toth, of Lancaster, and Harley H. (Sandy) Dietrich Jr., of Cary, NC; six grandchildren, Hillary (Benjamin) Parnell, Whitney (Rob) Underwood, Chelsea Dietrich, Jude (Paige) Toth and Matthew Toth, and Catherine (Michael) Witt; and four great-grandchildren, Cooper, Spencer, Schaefer, and Ledger.


Viewing will be on Thursday, September 7, from 6PM until time of service at 7PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Rev. Marcia Adams will officiate.  Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
