Karen R. Klimczyk

Karen R. Klimczyk, 62, of Hyde Park passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. She was born December 30, 1959 in New Kensington to Ralph A. Pitsch Sr. and the late Nancy Karen (Markey) Pitsch.

Karen was a graduate of Burrell Highschool Class of 1979 and later graduated from the Median School of Allied Health Careers. She had a profound and unwavering love of animals, especially her caring for her kitty cats and tending to her koi pond. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, kayaking, baking, and travelling. Karen was the ultimate wife and friend, with a zest for life, gentle kindness, and a tender heart of gold that will forever be a guiding light to everyone she encountered throughout her journey.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Jeffrey P. Klimczyk; brother, Ralph (Jacki) Pitsch Jr.; several nieces, nephews, and countless friends; and her adored cat, Blondie.
