Juanita Lynn Kiehl

Juanita L. Kiehl, 45, of Tarentum, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023, due to kidney failure.

She was born in New Kensington on August 11, 1977 to James and Martha Beck Thorne of Minnesota, she was a 1995 graduate of Valley High School.

Juanita was a manager of the McDonalds in Harmar Township and lately was a shift manager at KFC in New Kensington.  She enjoyed playing bingo, but her life was about her children and her family.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her fiancé of four years, Eric Snyder, Sr.; her daughter, Zoe A. (Cody Spann) Kiehl, her son Seth A. Kiehl; her sister, Georgia Jean (Michael) Bodzer; several cousins and many friends; and former husband, Bruce A. Kiehl.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Lillian Alexander.

Viewing will be Friday, May 26, 2023, from 5pm until services at 8pm in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Rev. Dean Ward will officiate at the service.  Contributions to help defray funeral expenses would be appreciated and may be made to the family in Juanita’s memory.
