Joyce E. (Davis) Stirland Obituary

Joyce E. Stirland, 90, daughter of Carl and Mary Davis, led a rich and fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Joyce traveled the world and enjoyed wintering in Florida as a “snowbird” for over 45 years. However, it was in her roles as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, Baba, and Gigi where she found her greatest joy.

Joyce was the wife of the late Ronald Stirland. Together, they raised a family that includes her sons, Ronald (Elaine) Stirland and Jeffrey (Mary) Stirland, and her daughter, Darla Robertson (James Pisano). She was a proud and loving grandmother to her grandsons: David (Cindy) Stirland, Matthew (Marcie) Stirland, and Kody (Nicole) Orkis; and her granddaughters: Leslie (Eric) Backos and Lyndsey Stirland (Harry Edwards). Joyce’s love extended to her great-grandchildren, including Jeffrey (Lindsey) Stirland, Jeremy Stirland, Kaden, Kyle, and Kurtis Orkis, and Rayna Backos. She was also blessed with two great-great-granddaughters, Ruth Ann and Caroline Stirland.

Joyce was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Ronald, and her siblings: Carol Bowman, Bernice Wilson, and Raymond Davis. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Douglas Stirland.

Joyce is survived by her loving sisters, Dolores Richey and Rosemarie (James) Cribbs, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.
