Joyce Irene (Boyer) Deemer

Joyce Deemer, 81, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2024.

Joyce was born on November 17, 1942 in Lower Burrell Township to the late James Addison Boyer and Lucy Enid Reedy. 

She worked as a housekeeper at Citizens General Hospital and West Haven Nursing Home.

She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed sewing, building puzzles, and spending time with family and close friends. She also enjoyed time with her dog Cookie. 

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Sam Deemer, son Christopher Palmer, and sister Kathryn Lucas. 

She is survived by her sons Tim (Amanda) Palmer and Archie (Beth) Palmer, beloved niece Kathy Santana, as well as seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
