Joseph L. Thompson Obituary

Joseph L. “Dottie” Thompson, 79, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2023.


He was born February 11, 1943 in East Liverpool, OH to the late Joseph & Florence (Nesbit) Thompson.  He was a well known running back for East Liverpool High School then attended Baldwin-Wallace College. 


Mr. Thompson was a crane operator for First Energy Corporation.  He was a member of the Holiday Park Church of Christ. 


Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Denise Robinson Thompson; children, Tracey, Joseph Jr. (Sha’Rhonda), Raedina and Elan Thompson; nine grandchildren, TaNieka Thompson, Tiaonna Brooks, Evan Broome, Joseph Brooks, Jazzmin Thompson, Myeah Thompson, Eric Garza, Jolie Miles, and Joseph Clark; many great-grandchildren; and a half-brother, Paul Thompson.
