Jonathon Allen McMeans Obituary

Jonathon Allen McMeans, 43, of Plum Borough, passed away peacefully at home, on Friday, August 9, 2024.


He was born September 1, 1980 in Natrona Heights to Keith A. & Andrea L Lord McMeans of Lower Burrell, was a 1998 graduate of Burrell High School and also graduated from Newport Business School.


Jonathon was sales manager at Cochran #1 Automotive in Harrison Township.  He was a member of St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church of Lower Burrell, enjoyed boating, was an avid golfer, and was the life of the party wherever he went.  He was passionate about life and loving his family, especially his daughter.


Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lynn McIntyre McMeans; daughter Taylor Marie McMeans; brother, Daniel William (Sara) McMeans and Joseph Michael (Jessica) McMeans; father-in-law Glenn McIntyre; brother-in-law, John Thomas “JT” McIntyre; and uncle, Edward Shehab. 


He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Peggy Shehab McIntyre.  


Viewing will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 5-8PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a Trisagion Service will be held Tuesday at 7PM, followed by prayers of transfer Wednesday at 10:30AM.  A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 11AM in St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 3055 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
