Jason Donald Raiford, 39, devoted father and husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend began his life with the Lord on the evening of Sunday, July 3, 2022 after a senseless act of violence. Born April 24, 1983, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Stephen Arthur Raiford Sr. and the late Darlene Etta Reid. He was a 2002 graduate of Oliver High School where he was an outstanding athlete excelling in basketball and football, receiving many collegiate scholarship offers. Jason met everyone with a smile, held a kind heart, and had an extremely light-hearted personality with a profound sense of humor. He brought life to every room he entered, and commanded a presence. Jason held an unwavering loyalty to his family and friends, and his daughters were the light of his life. Being a father was what made him most proud. A life forever remembered, and a spirit everlasting, Jason will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 15 years Caryn Michelle DiSilvestro Raiford; his cherished daughters Jalyn and Aliyah Raiford; father Stephen Sr. and step-mother Joan Pollard Raiford; brother Stephen A. (Jessica) Raiford Jr.; aunts, Norma Kelley, Barbara Raiford, Trish (Brian) Johnson, and Elaine Crosby; niece Marleina Raiford. Jason joins his mother Darlene; brother Michael Allen Raiford; and maternal grandmother Barbara Reid in Heaven.
