We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Ross G. Walker Funeral Home
Jason Donald Raiford, 39, devoted father and husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend began his life with the Lord on the evening of Sunday, July 3, 2022 after a senseless act of violence. He was a 2002 graduate of Oliver High School where he was an outstanding athlete excelling in basketball and football, receiving many collegiate scholarship offers. Jason met everyone with a smile, held a kind heart, and had an extremely light-hearted personality with a profound sense of humor. He brought life to every room he entered, and commanded a presence. Jason held an unwavering loyalty to his family and friends, and his daughters were the light of his life. Being a father was what made him most proud. A life forever remembered, and a spirit everlasting, Jason will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 15 years Caryn Michelle DiSilvestro Raiford; his cherished daughters Jalyn and Aliyah Raiford; father Stephen Sr. and step-mother Joan Pollard Raiford; brother Stephen A. (Jessica) Raiford Jr.; aunts, Norma Kelley, Barbara Raiford, Trish (Brian) Johnson, and Elaine Crosby; niece Marleina Raiford.
