Obituary

James Hamilton “Jayme” Moore passed away on Wednesday, February 9,2022. He was born on March 15, 1988 at Citizens General Hospital, to Ricardo Eugene Owen and Bernadine Fern Moore.

James was a member of I Am Grace Faith Ministries Church. He attended Saltsburg Junior & Senior High School. James was highly intelligent; one might call a “legendary genius.” He was a phenomenal, outstanding Dad, and LOVED his daughter, Karmella, with all his heart. She truly was his entire World and would go above and beyond for her. Aside from the Lord, she was the most important piece in his world.

James was born with many gifts, the one he used the most was the “Gift of Gab.” He was creative, loving, caring, kind, always helping, and encouraging others daily. He would give you the shirt off his back (when he had one) and quite literally, the shoes off his feet. He loved music, dancing, singing, smiling, and showing his chest muscles. Jayme gave a nickname to everyone he encountered. He loved to travel with his many colors of Nikes, and was the only person known to travel the world on feet in 30 days (give or take). He loved everyone, making a difference in the atmosphere wherever he went and did it with a smile on his face and love in his heart.

James was one of a kind who many admired and wanted to befriend. If you knew Jayme you could hear his laugh and feel his energy, A warm energy that could be felt from his tight hugs and a contagious smile that matched his loving heart. One heart was worn on his sleeve for his daughter, Karmella. His selflessness made him eager to grow into the ideal father. Jayme loved his family dearly and never hesitated to show it. Nonetheless, James was a phenomenal genius he was accepted into Genova College by acing the required testing at first chance, such intelligence and wit could never go unnoticed.

James is survived by his mother, Bernadine Fern Moore; father, Ricardo Owen Sr.; daughter, Karmella Ohana Moore, and her mother Sheena; Godmother, Donielle Owen; m. grandfather, James H. Moore Jr.; p. siblings, Ricardo Owen, Lorenzo Wade, Cedric Shuler, Alexis Gibson, Bella Cecconello; m. siblings, Andre Standford, Jamal Moore, Jared Moore, Tiwianda Taylor, and Nafahetti Taylor; uncles, James H. Moore III, Jeremiah and Joshua Walker; and a host of additional aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
